.me,myself & I.

19 Years old
alhamdulillah praise to Allah the Almighty,
It is for HIM I'm still alive, breathe,
living with those whom I love,
It has been 19 years now I've live in a place called Earth
19 years which have taught me meaningful lessons
from baby steps to driving a car
this entry is dedicated to me,myself & I

on my very special day..

my BIRTHDAY it is

this is my story

(di ats riba ummi brape hr slps lahir,,main cak2)

(masa muda dulu)

It's always great to be young..so much things to explore n discover

driving a truck in the zoo, flying aeroplane,
driving go-kart,climbing mount kinabalu,
and as I grew older,
I began to learn lessons about LIFE
and I realize, there are questions that needed an answer

' Have I've been a good Servant '

' Have I've been a good and obedient son '
' What have I contribute to the society '
' How's my IMAN doing '
' Am I prepared for new challenges '
' What's next for me in the upcoming years '
' Will I see myself
as a doctor in the next 6 years '

all these questions and many more will kept haunting me

if there's no serious action taken
, a brother once said to me,
'' with great powers,come great responsibilities ''

it is up to ME to DECIDE & Make my choice

'' Surely Allah will never change the
condition of a people
untill
they change it themselves '' (ar - Ra'd,11)

and in a different verse

'' Allah gives more, or grants by(right)measure,
The (means of) support to whomsoever He pleases.

The joy in the life of this world:

But the (very) life of this world is

Only of little comfort in the Hereafter.
(ar-Ra'd,26)

and one thing for sure, as our age increases..
it reflects on how near death will be,
and am I prepared for the eternal world?

..happy birthday abg mu'az..
n to others who share this date 03/07

Ammar Faris
happy birthday my friend

.Sleep : A Necessity,Not a Luxury.

Found this article at yahoo
Sleep: A necessity,not a luxury
by Dennis Thompson, Healthday Reporter

SUNDAY, June 8 (HealthDay News) -- The pace of life gets faster and faster, and people try to cram more and more into every minute of the day.

As things get more hectic, sleep tends to get short shrift. It's seen as wasted time, lost forever.

"For healthy people, there's a big temptation to voluntarily restrict sleep, to stay up an hour or two or get up an hour or two earlier," said Dr. Greg Belenky, director of the Sleep and Performance Research Center at Washington State University Spokane.

"But you're really reducing your productivity and exposing yourself to risk," Belenky added.

That's a message doctors are trying to spread to Americans, including the estimated 40 million people who struggle with some type of sleep disorder each year.

Before Thomas Edison invented the light bulb in 1880, people slept an average of 10 hours a night. These days, Americans average 6.9 hours of sleep on weeknights and 7.5 hours a night on weekends, according to the National Sleep Foundation.

"The group of people getting optimal sleep is getting smaller and smaller," said Dr. Chris Drake, senior scientist at the Henry Ford Hospital Sleep Disorders and Research Center in Detroit. "When a person's sleep drops to six hours or less, that's when a lot of things become very problematic."

While experts recommend seven to eight hours of sleep each night, the amount needed for an individual can vary.

But lack of sleep affects a person in one of two ways, Belenky said. First, sleeplessness influences the day-to-day performance of tasks.

"The performance effects are seen immediately," he said. "You short-change yourself of sleep, and you see the effects immediately. You can make a bad decision. You can miss something. Have a moment's inattention, and you're off the road."

The longer-term effects of sleep deprivation involve a person's health. Doctors have linked lack of sleep to weight gain, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems, depression and substance abuse.

.10 things we waste.

Asalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu

Ten Things We Waste
Lessons from Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah

1. Our Knowledge:
Wasted by not taking action with it

2.
Our Actions:
Wasted by committing them without sincerity.

3. Our Wealth:
Wasted by using on things that will not bring us ajr (reward from Allah). We waste our money, our status, our authority, on things which have no benefit in this life or in akhirah (hereafter).

4. Our Hearts:
Wasted because they are empty from the love of Allah, and the feeling of longing to go to Him, and a feeling of peace and contentment. In it's place, our hearts are filled with something or someone else.

5. Our Bodies:
Wasted because we don't use them in ibadah (worship) and service of Allah.

6. Our Love:
Our emotional love is misdirected, not towards Allah, but towards something/someone else.

7. Our Time
: Wasted, not used properly, to compensate for that which has passed, by doing what is righteous to make up for past deeds.

8. Our Intellect:
Wasted on things that are not beneficial, that are detrimental to society and the individual, not in contemplation or reflection.

9. Our Service:
Wasted in service of someone who will not bring us closer to Allah, or benefit in dunyaa.

10. Our Dhikr
(Remembrance of Allah): Wasted, because it does not effect us or our hearts.

apart of all the things mention..frankly I've
Wasted almost all of it,especially 1,4,5,6,7,10 (which I felt most)

.Fuel oh Fuel.

copy and paste it,found it in my email..so it had to be post in malay

Untuk semua penduduk di
malaysia tak kira apa bangsa pun...baik melayu, cina , india atau lain2 bangsa...

Idea yang sangat menarik? Tapi adakah ianya berkesan?

Nampaknya menjelang tahun depan harga petrol akan menghampiri RM 2.00. Mahu supaya harga petrol turun?

1) ESSO/MOBIL 2) SHELL 3) PROJET

Ia sangat mudah dilakukan, caranya:-

TOLONG KEKALKAN KOMITMEN ANDA SEHINGGA MEREKA TURUNKAN HARGA ALAM LINGKUNGAN 80 SEN SELITER.

Mudah saja, anda cuma perlu...

1. Forwardkan email ini kepada kawan-kawan dan kenalan,
2. Beli petrol dari PETRONAS, CALTEX dan BP (now BHP) sahaja, jauhi diri anda dari stesyen petrol ESSO/MOBIL, SHELL dan PROJET

fyi, yesterday me,abah n kaklong went out to fill up the cars since the fuel price was going to increase by 0.78 cent..after performing maghrib prayer..we rush to the nearest esso (sorry but there's no petronas nearby..one is under construction..next time we'll change the place)..and as what m'sian will be facing in the upcoming days it's a chaos..everybody wanted to fill up their fuel since it's the last day for all m'sian..it's a heavy traffic in sg buloh's fuel station and I assume same goes to other parts of m'sia..well...what could I say a drastic changes need to be done..thanks to our beloved government for what's happening

.sambungan.

hmm..apart of the accident case, there were other cases that happen during that day and one that attract my attention was,,, there's this lady when I saw her she was vomitting a black liquid out from her mouth..well that's kind a creepy at first, but it 's fun to watch and get to know what's going on really gives me an excitement .. and after I ask the nurse that black liquid that the lady vomitted was actually charcoal that she was ask to drink..well somehow I just knew that day charcoal (click for details) is used for certain treatmant of poisoning (it does have a value in medicine)

Day 2

W
ell this time around, when I went to the hospital I have a task that needs to be accomplished which was I need to learn and get additional information from medical personnel about Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or CPR..since I need to prepare for my english presentation back in USIM..so it just come across in my mind CPR will probably be the best topic as a public speaking presentation..Alhamdulillah that day my sis was working in resus (red zone) where critical cases were observed here, and that means if I'm lucky, probably there will be cases where CPR is conducted..and to my suprise there's one..
patient indian woman, she was brought to resus due to heart attack (myocardial infarction) she had the attack in the morning when she was going to vote (happen during the election..sorry for her, maybe she was so excited to vote for the RIGHT candidate) so she was put under observation..and after a time..it struck again the heart attack..and this time it's serious..somehow the nurse saw she was like gasping so they had to intubate..seeing no response..they had to perform CPR..hmm..lucky for me to witness a real life situation but felt sorry for her..I tried to help but only by pushing the blue button(code blue)..then there was this moment when her heartbeat enter the VF (ventricular fibrillation -click for details) stage..so one the MA (medical assistant) had to prepare the defibrillator machine (the electrical shock device oftenly use in the tv..which they usually shouted..CHARGE!) but suddenly it went to normal..so not this time for me to witness the using of the device..hmm I was hoping that the auntie will still have the chance to live and maybe to vote for the last time..

Then I heard my sis said to me..' nak buat tak CPR? '..and I was..haa ok..hmm this is my chance to learn it in a real threatening situation..with guidance from the trained nurse whom was the trainer in CPR course..I took the oppurtinity to help..after all..since it's very tiring(30 compression..huh) so the man(MA) alternately perform the CPR and I'm the only man that haven't done it..after more than half an hour..we tried the best that we could to save her but no one can escape from god's fate..she was destined to die that day. Very much I learned that it is important for us to know about CPR and how to perform it the right way because maybe one day that person that we need to save is probably someone that we know and if we are hesitate or nervouse we might not have the chance to see them again..
my gratitude to all doctors,ma,nurses that have work endlessly saving human's life (a noble job indeed)

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving technique useful in many emergencies, including heart attack or near drowning, in which someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped.
