salam to all,
alhamdulillah, I've done wth my exams
hopefully we passed all the modules, it's really crazy
to think how th word EXAM can affect ones life..
I'm sure we've tried our best and now what we can do
is to pray and set new goals for th upcoming semester

My plan for a tour de ireland during th semester break had to

be postponed due to unproper plans, but I managed

to go to galway lst weekend for an event

NEXT Eire '09 - a nasyeed competition, fundraise for gaza,

although I was told in th midst of my exam

abt this event, tis not untill th lst day of registration my friend

and I (2 of us) decided to enter th competition to

represent our college..we sang 2 songs

permataku-mirwana n amrullah-bro mu'adz

surprisingly, we won th first place! alhamdulillah

bro izzat frm mirwana n ust erfino were th judges

for th event n both sang as well

honestly, I'd say my perfomance was not tht good,

I was way too nervous, but faheem (guitarist)

played both songs well, we had 2 days of practice

thnk you to hadi nordin for permatku chords, n

munaim nordin for publishing th chords in his blog

however I didn't spent much time in galway,

after th event we just head to th city centre before

went bck to dublin..so nxt time insyaAllah, I'll have

a tour in galway (gaillimhe), such a peaceful n

For 7th note: This was one of the reasons I'm

afraid of being a judge, despite being open to criticism,

there could be someone out there who

could sing my song better than me. What else could I comment?

It's a good show, well done! and keep it up...

I just want to make something clear, not because 7th note sang

my song they did won the first place, because the marks was 60%

from the judges and 40% from the audience. Anyway, congratulations

to all the winners and well done to all the committees for this great event

what is a PreDepartue ?
pre departue is a yearly program organize by IMAM UK EIRE,
student chapter in collaboration with IMAM doctor's chapter to
equip students,whom will be flying overseas pursuing medicine in
different countries, information focusing on all different kind of
aspect,life as an overseas student,about the univ,etc.

how this program differ from others ?
well as it is a pre departue program,therefore some of the content
is much the same in a way,however what makes this program
a must attend program before flying,not only student will have a
good view on what's about to come in years ahead,preparing
mentally,spiritually & physically,asking question from
seniors (diff univ representative),it also act as a medium where
participant of the program have the oppurtunity to meet various
doctors with various specialty with eye to eye conversation giving
them exclusive view of a doctor's career along with inspiring advices,
a live experience one shouldn't miss

my PreDepartue ?
alhamdulillah it was a memorable experience and it really
change some of my perspective in the world of medicine.
The speakers, only one word can best describe them
a.m.a.z.i.n.g,although they were buzy,they
really could find some time to be with us.
Prof Latiff,such a great guy,his words really touched my heart
Dr Musa,a humble guy, yet he manage to open up our mind,
to see how important for doctors, to work as a team.
Prof Amal,his video presentation was so uplifting
Dr Rodhi,sharing experience throughout his journey of
becoming an ortho surgeon & currently working in UKM
- infact he was once a student in RCSI.
besides talk, we also had the oppurtunity to experience
' solah in the garden ', basically we prayed in the garden,
which was a norm for students who studies overseas
where mosque and prayer rooms are limited.
There's also an intellectual game conducted by the commitee
where it expose clinical examination for us, quite fun & also
we learn about Fiqh overseas

lessons ?

in the good side of the ummah

he also give a talk after subuh prayer (more like kuliah subuh)
and subhanallah, this doctors, are not only one who understand
medicine,but they do have knowledge in religion
- very impressive indeed.

his point was simple, he shared a hadeeth which
prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) said

1) Fear Allah wherever you may be
2) Follow up an evil deed with a good one which will wipe (the former) out
3) Behave good-naturedly towards people

a night of ' Discovering arts, revealing Islam '
perfomance by munawwar jr, munawwar senior
n .crescendo. and a short drama by
KMB students (two thumbs up!)

we arrived around 6.50 nearly 7.00 pm for sound check
and later that night we were given two slots (10 minutes each)
performing marhaban (an opening just to clear our throats)
pagi yg cerah (snada), pasrahkan diri (snada) - 1st slot
semalam (boyzIImen,yesterday), anugerah yg indah (gradasi)
and innovation - 2nd slot



overall it was a good experience for us,although the audience
wasn't quite familiar with the songs (psl byk sumbang kot..)
except for innovation n semalam.
our gratitudes for KMB's team,ammar roslizar,asma' nasir
for giving us the oppurtunity to perform that night
(it has been quite a long time,performing on a stage) and vip's.

.Wed.

Yesterday went to an ex-classmate wedding in Janda Baik,the bride Sharifah Fatimah az-zahra Syed Hussein Al-attas was my classmate back in IIC, she invited me to her wed,the groom was an Adni student itself Syed Haris if i'm not mistaken. Both bride and groom currently studying at IIUM in psychology. Since the place was quite far,so I asked Amin n Adib members of cres to accompany..picking up adib in CFS IIUM PJ was quite an adventure,hehe..it took me about 1 and half quater before I finally managed to find the place..huh..

At the wedding, I met some of my old friends in IIC,

Sobrina(IIUM,Kuantan Dentistry),
Habeeb(IIUM, something to do with arts),
Harith(my long time bestfriend),Haziq(harith's brother)
Rasyad,Taqi,Rasydan,
Jabbar(just finish his exam),Tiya(lovely),
Ridza(nice car),Buden(arab look like),
Nabil(smart),Zulhelmi,Ruzainah(ridza sister),
Sakinah(a new status-mom),
Rabiatul(nabil n zul's sister),
Ibu Laila(pengasuh masa kecik,she's so sweet)...
although it's been a long time I've left IIC but I still remember their names..
it is true like an idiom which says..

' although titanic is the biggest ship, but the best ship is a FRIENDSHIP '

during my days in IIC

I was told that later that night sharifah or cik ani as others call her, had a special event only for her friends, Adni-IIC..but I couldn't make it since have somethig else to do,me,amin n adib continue our journey to abg aziz's house in kajang..another adventure before finding the right place..haha kene blajar mengenal jalan lepas ni..we had some discussion about an upcoming project for the month of ramadhan..hadi n afiq couldn't make it to join the discussion.. and later that day we had a training on semalam (boyzIImen original of yesterday)

alhamdulillah the wedding went well although there were some minor problem here & there, newly wed kngah (sumayya) & hubby (iqhbal) telahpun selamat diijabkabulkan ..

hmm..it have been quite a busy day for us since my second sister will get married this weekend.with his husband to be Dr Iqhbal..both of them working as doctors in Selayang Specialist Hospital in the emergency department (trust me I've been there..what a hectic life).

today my bro who is working in japan returns to attend the wedding..plus he will be the mc for the akad nikah night which he refuses..the pelamin have been set up for the event..yusof n safwa playing all around the house..abah have just bought a new pa system ,a camera flash and upgraded abg shaharin's videocam with external video output wire for the live telecast that is going to be set up just for this wedding..but one thing that I find in having this wedding is that this is the time when our whole family would gather together and that's the beauty of it. kakak will also join us shortly..

so a new chapter in our life and kngah's life is yet to be written in the coming days..hopefully things goes as planned..insyaAllah
